New Album on Flickr: Amsterdam Klezmer Band

Je suis devenu très actif sur Flickr où vous pouvez me retrouver sous le pseudo de Sammael99. J'ai mis en ligne de nombreuses photos dont la plupart de celles qui sont parues ici, mais aussi beaucoup d'autres. Je vous invite à y jeter un oeil et également à devenir un contact si vous utilisez également Flickr. En attendant, voici un nouvel album, celui des photos du magnifique concert de l'Amsterdam Klezmer Band à La Bellevilloise en Novembre. Ca a été un traitement long et dur en raison d'une combinaison terrible d'éclairages de face et de scène envahie de pieds de micros (un peu comme le concert de David Krakauer l'été dernier - que je n'ai toujours pas traité - comme quoi le Klezmer est maudit...) Mais au final il y a tout de même quelques photos dont je suis bien content!

In the meantime, here's a new album, photos of the amazing Amsterdam Klezmer Band concert at La Bellevilloise in November. It's been a long a painful post-processing due to a combination of horrendous "in you face" lighting and a stage cluttered with mic' stands (a little like the David Krakauer concert last summer - which I still haven't fully processed - which suggests that Klezmer might be photographically cursed...) In the end there are a few shots in there I'm really happy with, though!

New Photo Album on Flickr: Derek Trucks

I've uploaded the full processed photo shoot from the Derek Trucks concert in Paris in April on Flickr. It was a tough bit of work, since this was one of my first shoots and I was still uncomfortable with a lot of the settings. Still, there are a few nice photos there, I think. Judge for yourself!

New Photo Album on Flickr: Will Bernard Trio

 Jusqu'à maintenant, j'hébergeais mes photos sur Picasa, mais je me suis rendu compte que c'était surtout parce que j'utilisais Picasa comme outil de post-production. Maintenant que j'utilise Lightroom cet argument de "facilité d'utilisation" a disparu et je ne suis pas super convaincu du service en ligne de Picasa au-delà de l'hébergement de photos de familles. Donc j'ai décidé de donner sa chance à Flickr. J'ai ouvert un compte hier et uploadé ma première série de photos. Ce sont les photos retravaillées du concert du Will Bernard Trio au Sunside en Juillet. J'ai déjà publié ici une photo de Will Bernard et une de Simon Lott. N'hésitez pas à me donner votre avis ou poster des commentaires, ici où là-bas! Et si vous avez un compte Flickr aussi, faites le moi savoir par mail ou via Flickr!

Until now, I'd been hosting some photos on Picasa, but I realised that this was mostly because until recently I'd been using Picasa as a post-production tool. Now that I use Lightroom, that "ease of use" argument is gone and I honestly don't think Picasa's hosting capabilities are that good beyond hosting your family photos. So I decided to try out Flickr. I opened an account yesterday and uploaded my first set of photos. These are the final photos from the Will Bernard Trio concert I attended in July and from which I have already shown a Will Bernard shot and a Simon Lott shot.
