J'étais la semaine dernière à un concert d'Angelo Debarre, un grand du jazz manouche qui marie une virtuosité toute en facilité et une gouaille typiquement gitane. Comme d'habitude dans ce genre de salle, la lumière est tellement difficile qu'il n'y a aucune chance pour un débutant comme moi d'en sortir des photos en couleur. Toutefois j'ai réussi à extraire quelques beaux noirs et blancs, dont celui-ci qui montre le maestro en action.
I went last week to a concert by Angelo Debarre, a great gypsy jazz player who combines an easy virtuosity with a typically gipsy attitude. As usual in these clubs, the lighting was terribly tough on me and there's no chance for a beginner such as myself to get a color shot out of it. I did manage to extract a few black & whites though, including this one of the maestro in action.
